Spending, by message
MoneTell turns a WhatsApp message into a proper budget. No app to download, no password to forget, no bank account to connect.
First 10 expenses are free. No card needed to start.
And then, without doing anything else
Every message you send builds this. Ask for your dashboard in the chat and it opens in the browser — nothing to install, nothing to log into.
The honest bit
You get to the end of the month, look at what’s left, and can’t account for a good third of it. That isn’t carelessness. Nobody remembers forty small decisions three weeks after making them.
The usual fix is a spreadsheet or an app, and the usual fix fails for one reason: it asks for thirty seconds you never spend. Thirty seconds is long enough to think “later”, and later never comes.
MoneTell does the remembering. Four words in a chat you already have open, and by the end of the month the answer is sitting there waiting for you.
How it works
Tap the button, WhatsApp opens, you send a message. There’s no sign-up form, because there’s no account to create.
“Lunch 8.50”. “Spent 42 at Tesco”. “Uber to work 12”. Write it how you’d say it — it works out the amount, the category and the date.
Ask for your dashboard and you get a private link. Your month, broken down, with nothing to install.
What it deliberately doesn’t do
MoneTell never connects to your bank and never asks for your card. Every other budgeting app starts by asking for read access to your accounts. This one starts with you typing three words.
Nothing on your home screen, nothing eating storage, nothing to remember to open. It lives in the app you check a hundred times a day anyway.
Your phone number is your account. Getting into the dashboard means asking for a link in the chat — that’s the entire login flow.
MoneTell sorts and totals everything for you, but it only ever sees what you send it. No misread card payments, no duplicate subscriptions, no month full of transactions you have to go and correct.

Questions
No. If you have WhatsApp, you have everything you need. MoneTell is a phone number you message, and a web page you can open when you want to see the totals.
Never. MoneTell has no access to your accounts, your card, or your transactions. The only thing it knows is what you type into the chat.
Send it again the way you meant it, and correct it from the dashboard. If MoneTell can’t work out what you meant, it asks rather than guessing — and a message it didn’t understand doesn’t count against your free ten.
Pounds by default. If you write an amount in another currency it records it as that currency, so a trip abroad doesn’t quietly distort your month.
From the billing page, in two clicks, without emailing anyone. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Log it in four words and see what the month actually looks like. The first ten are free, and there’s no card to enter.
